Polo this week and onwards

Yak polo

With the box lacrosse and street hockey seasons starting soon, the home teams at the rink have first dibs on time slots and we just lost ours on Wednesdays, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The days are getting shorter, too, so the games will require lights pretty soon.

The available slots for us, starting this week, are:

  • Tuesday, 7:00 — 9:00 PM
  • Tuesday, 7:30 — 9:30 PM
  • Tuesday, 8:00 — 10:00 PM
  • Wednesday, 8:30 — 10:00 PM
  • Thursday, 8:00 — 10:00 PM

Think about the times and let us know in the comments which ones would work for you.

Also, if we want to play this week, either on Wednesday (just 1.5h, probably with lights the whole time), or on Thursday, we should act quickly. So if you want to come and play, which one would you prefer?

I can’t make it on Thursday this week, so I would prefer Wednesday (tomorrow).

Going forward, all of them would work for me for now, I might be leaning towards either Tuesday or Thursday 8:00—10:00 PM.

It sounds like the Prague crew needs to step up the polo games. Soon enough Bratislava will be beating you guys in tourneys…

No chance. We have all the best Mountain Huns playing here already😉 Anyway, I hope you’re stepping up your road riding – I’ve been doing my best to wear out the tires on the Cervelo. Had an “epic burrito” ride against the wind on Tuesday and planning another 120K this weekend from Jindrichuv hradec to Cesky krumlov.

Fear not my friend, I’ve been hitting the road hard. I rode to Spain on the Bianchi over four days last week camping along the way. I picked up a sick second-hand TIME race bike from an older dude. It is decked in carbon and campy. The bike is like-new, scary fast; and the tight turning make for a really nice handling ride. She is getting ridden regularly. I hope the Cervelo is treating you well. I looks really nice.
